Aubrey Birth Pictures

I wanted to add some pictures from the birth of Aubrey. When we went to the hospital to see if I was in active labor we brought the camera, but realized we forgot to put in the memory card. Luckily Bob and Denise showed up right before we went in for the csection and we used their camera. Bob gave me the CD so I now have these pictures. Pretty cool!

Family Update

Well, we came home with our baby girl on Monday 5/19. We finally agreed upon a name and spelling. Aubrey Jo Westrich. Our first night home was a bit stressful, but we got through it. Aubrey is a great baby. She only cries when she is hungry or needs her diaper changed. We are really lucky! We had Aubrey's first week check up today. It went great. She is now 7lbs.
3/4 oz. When we brought her home she was 6lbs. 9oz.
She is 20 1/2 inches in length.
Jackson is being a great big brother. He likes to rub her head. He gives her kisses before we leave to go to Beth's in the mornings. At times he does get jealous, but overall he is so sweet with her. He is going to be a protective big brother.
I am doing pretty good. I have my moments when I get emontional, but with all these hormones adjusting it is toe be expected. I do have a superficial blood clot in my leg. The doctor said it should dissolve on it's own.
Jim has been terrific. He has been helping out so much. We are really working together as a team. I hope it stays this way. He is a wonderful husband and father. Well, gotta go. I am attaching some new pictures.

Our sweet pea

Hello, well, things are going well with our new little addition. Today was a little rough for me mentally and physically, but it is so exciting to have a new little baby girl. Jackson spent the whole weekend with Mama and Papa Westrich. He got a bunch of new trains and got to go out on the boat so he was having a blast! He still isn't sure of what to think of Aubrie, but I know he going to be a great big brother! Breast feeding is going well so far. I've had my ups and downs, but looks like it is going to work out really well this time around.
Since I went into labor 3 weeks early I didn't' have everything done that I needed done. Turns out Jennifer and Mackenzie cleaned our house for us today. Girls I want to thank you so much. I am so embarrassed that you saw my messy house like that, but we really appreciate it. It will be nice to go home to a clean house! One less thing to worry about.
It really hit me today that Jim and I now have 2 children. It is kinda scary. We have our complete little family. We have so many memories to make. It is going to be so much fun to see them grow up together. I am so anxious to see how different their personalities are. I am getting a bit tired and it's getting close to time to feed Aubrey so I guess I'll get going. I will keep everyone posted on how things are once we get settled at home. Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Our Baby Girl

Well, baby Aubrie (still not sure of spelling) has arrived! She was born 5/16/08 @ 7:20pm she weighs 7 pounds 3 ounces and is 19 1/2 inches long.

Jim and I came up to the hospital expecting them to say it was false labor. Little did we know Dr. Mauzsek would stop by and say it was the real thing!! Within an hour and a half of her saying it was the real thing we were in the surgery room. It happened so quickly
Everything is going well.

nothing new

Well, nothing new to report on the pregnancy. Just anxious to have this baby girl. Jackson started getting sick last Thursday and is finally getting better. We had a decent weekend. Jim and Jackson got me a digital picture frame for Mother's Day and it is really cool! Very thoughtful. I had no idea. Jim said he had been wanting to get me one for a while. I also got two really nice cards. Jackson did a wonderful job signing his name and coloring on the envelope. We stayed home all weekend since Jackson wasn't feeling well. I didn't feel so hot on Sunday either. Jim went to visit his mom and grandma and then I ran over to my moms after he got home. We did have to cancel our picture appointment on Saturday. That was a bummer! Jim also worked his tail off. He changed our oil in both cars and painted the kitchen. What a great hubby! My next doctors appointment is this Thursday. Hoping I will have some progression. I sure want to go a little early!!! ONLY 24 more days left till csection!

Baby Update

Well, I started yesterday with my weekly doctor appointments. Nothing much going on. She checked me and I am not dilated at all. At this point with Jackson I was between 1 & 2 cm. I was hoping she would say that I was well on my way!!
This weekend Jim and Jackson are getting their pictures taken. I am so excited about it. We need some new pictures of Jackson! I think it'll be cute to get some father son ones! After the baby comes I might have some mother son ones taken.
Jackson is growing up so fast. He is starting to talk so much more. I hope everyone has a wonderful Mother's Day!

Monday, May 5, 2008

Well, Friday I took the day off work and went and got a pregnancy massage at Face and Body Spa. It was wonderful! Jim had his Fishing Tourney at Lake of the Ozarks with Bob. They did really well! They placed 6th out of 90 boats. Great job guys! Josh Anderson and his dad Ed were also in the Tourney and they did really well. They placed 13th.
So I spent the weekend trying to clean up the house and get things ready for baby. Jackson got his hair cut. We are having his pictures taken this coming Saturday. I want to get some of him and some of him and Jim together. I am staying FAR away from the camera. I don't need any pictures of me!!! Sunday I was super tired. I don't know what was up. Guess it's this baby growing inside me sucking up all my energy. Today is a little better, but man am I having trouble sleeping. I just don't know how I am going to make it 5 more weeks. I am so anxious for her to arrive. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

It all starts here

This is the start of our blog. My pregnancy has been a rough road, but it will all be worth it when baby Aubrey arrives. I had my last baby ultrasound ever this Monday. It was a little sad knowing I will never feel that excitement of having an ultrasound of a baby ever again. Everything looked good. The tech gave me a 3D picture. It was pretty cool. Well, I am almost 35 weeks pregnant with this baby girl. Jim just took this picture of my belly this past Sunday before the shower. Can you believe how big I am! The shower/lunch was so beautiful and relaxing. It was fun to get girly stuff for Aubrey! Thanks girls it mean so much to me! I am really going to try and keep this blog updated. I am finally learning how to do this stuff and really it's not as hard as I thought it would be. I am also including a picture of my handsome son Jackson! This was the day we went to Mama and Papa Westrich's house. He wanted to wear his hat and sunglasses. He didn't want to take them off! He is getting so big! They grow way to fast. He makes me laugh all the time! He is so funny.
