It's been a while...

Well, it's been a while since my last post. It is different having two kids to say the least. Much more to do. Aubrey has had a hard time with reflux. She had an upper GI and has seen two GI docs. I didn't like the first one we went to. It is under control now though. She is taking meds and we add simplythick to her bottle to thicken the breast milk. We went to Grant's Farm for Father's day agian this year. It was a lot of fun. It will be our tradition as long as Grant's Farm stays open. Jackson was sick over 4th of July weekend with 103 fever. We were out at Denise and Bobs on the 5th and he started running a fever Becky my sis-n-law was so great and offered to go to the urgent care with me. She is wonderful. Poor Becky had to smell Jacksons stinky throw up as he threw up right before we got to the urgent care. It ended up being just a flu bug of some sort. Several kids at Jackson's daycare had it including our little buddy Collin Corey. Then Cousin Cate and little baby Aubrey caught it. Let me tell you how fun it is to have a sick newborn baby (yeah right) It is scary when they run such a high fever. Things are going well though. This past Saturday I took Jackson to the new waterpark in Hazelwood and we had a BLAST!! Jim stayed home with Aubrey and rested with his vastomey...yes he had it done! No more kids for us. The waterpark is a great place! I just started back to work this Monday. It was a rough morning. It's a lot harder getting two kids packed up and off to Bethie's. I held it together while dropping both Jackson and Aubrey off, but as soon as I got in the van the tears started flowing. I called Jim and he told me to just let it out and that everything would be okay. For those of you that know me well I am an emontional person. I love my husband and kids with all my heart. I know they are in wonderful hands at Beth's and having a blast, but how great would it be to stay home with them. Beth has been great on keeping me posted how things are going. She has been so great about sending me emails and as always the "my days" are great. I am looking forward to getting into some kind of a routine. Each day this week has been better. Aubrey is not sleeping through the night. She is up about every 3 hours to eat. I am actually going to try a little bit of cereal in her bottle tonight to see if that might make a difference. I really need some sleep. Jackson likes me to lay in bed with him for a little bit at night and there have been a couple of times I've just fallen asleep and Jim has had to come and wake me. I can fall asleep just about anywhere!!! Julie-Lauren-Cathy...remember the Pico story LOL.... I absolutly love being a mom. We are blessed to have such beautiful healthy children. Jackson is a GREAT big brother. He is really good with Aubrey. He is a sweet little boy! This weekend Jim and I finally get to spend some time with out the kiddo's. We are going to the baseball game with a bunch of friends and have a hotel room. I am really looking forward to it. Mama Denise is being so great and staying the night at our house with the kids! Thanks Denise!!! Well, this is a little bit of an update. Hope all is well with everyone. Enjoy the pictures below.

Love the update. I remember the little miss priss picture from when I was there that night. I still need more time with Aubrey - maybe the next time you need time out with Jimmy - Auntie Jen can babysit!!
